Cornwall & Gloucestershire Residential Care – Day Care – Home Care – Respite Care – Elderly Care – Dementia Care – Mental Health Care
We are a family run company with family and care at the heart of what we do
Jammac Care Group is family run by Mike Westmore, Chris Westmore and their 4 children (Amy Clark, Mary Vaughan, Anna Blenkinsop, and John Westmore). Mike and Chris Westmore have been in the care industry since 1988 when they changed the use of The Crescent from a hotel into a care home for people requiring mental health support. The change came about after a hotel resident with mental health needs had nowhere else to go. Mike and Chris allowed her to stay long term and soon realised there was a demand for this type of facility in Newquay. The Crescent has been successfully providing this niche service ever since.
The name Jammac was created using the first initial of each of the family members. With the introduction of the whole family into the team Jammac Care Group was able to grow.
