Meet the Directors and Management Team
Mike Westmore and Chris Westmore (Directors)


Mike and Chris started out in care at the Crescent in 1988. They have successfully grown the business and now own several care homes in Cornwall specialising in Adult Mental Illness and Elderly and Dementia care. It is a family-owned business run by Mike and Chris and their four children (Amy, Mary, Anna and John).
Initially they were involved in the day-to-day running of the Homes and Mike has NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. However, now-a-days Mike and Chris are not involved in the daily aspects of the Homes but are involved in growing and developing the business as a whole.

Amy Clark, Legal and HR Director and CQC Nominated Individual
Amy has worked for the business since December 2019. Prior to that, she studied Law at Cardiff University and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. She specialises in Employment Law. She also successfully ran her own guest house business. She works across the Homes in all aspects of the business, but takes particular responsibility for legal and staffing issues.

Anna Blenkinsop, Commercial Director and CQC Nominated Individual
Anna has worked in the Care Home business since 2015. She has a great deal of experience in all aspects of the care business. Anna has NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. She particularly specialises in regulation, audit and compliance across the Homes. She has a Joint Honours Degree in English and History and prior to working for the business she was involved in HR and Recruitment management.

Mary Vaughan, Finance Director
Mary has worked for the business in a consultancy role since 2009 and took on the full time Finance Director role in March 2020. She is a Chartered Accountant, qualifying in September 2000. Since qualifying Mary has worked in both practice and industry and successfully ran her own Accountancy business. She takes responsibility for all aspects of finance across the Group including accounts, cashflow, payroll, budgets, and tax.

John Westmore, Managing Director and CQC Nominated Individual
John has worked for the business since 2016. He works across all the Homes and is involved in all aspects of the business. John has NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. He takes particular responsibility for the buildings, services and maintenance. Prior to coming into the family business, John set up and ran a successful Farriery business for 10 years. This was having completed a Modern Apprenticeship in Farriery gaining a Diploma from The Worshipful Company of Farriers (DipWCF).

Adele Beaton, Area Manager
Adele has worked for the Jammac Care Group since September 2024. Adele provides support to the Registered Managers and Directors and oversees the running of the services in Cornwall. Adele joined Jammac with a wealth of experience in care, marketing, business strategy and staff management and is an asset to the team. Adele is currently working towards her Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
